Description:

  • Introduction to object oriented programming, computational design for robotic fabrication

  • Develop a robotic procedure (pick and place, gluing station for the mini bricks)

  • Develop a computational method to robotically aggregate bricks in order to build volumetric structures, using the UR 5 Robot.

  • 500 mini wooden bricks

Concept:

Using Python in Grasshopper and mathematical models such as sinusoidal value genarations and gradual rotations, the distribution and orientation of the bricks is hardcoded in one single script.
